The recommended surface should be an engineered fiber (EWF) or shredded/recycled rubber underlayment, with a minimum depth of 9 inches (229 mm), or an equivalent surface certified for a maximum drop height of 8 feet (2.5 m)." Grass installation is best when combined with the recommended protective surface.
